It was our first time to Budapest, Hungary last summer, and of all places, we found Hotel Moments via Google Maps! We wanted to stay at a modern boutique hotel where it’s convenient in location and with great food options as well.
When we first booked the hotel, it wasn’t even opened yet. They were accepting reservations online months in advance, and they finally opened about 4 months prior to our arrival. We kept checking their website and read great reviews from travelers who had already stayed there, and when we finally arrived, the hotel was more than we expected.
We arranged for a driver to pick us up at the Ferenc Liszt Airport, and he dropped us off right in front of the hotel entrance. We were very impressed by the high ceiling and hallway leading up to the lobby, and they also have an in-house restaurant right in the front. We immediately made dinner reservations for that first night.
The lobby was open air and cozy. The staff was very nice, friendly and professional. After we checked in, we took the elevator up to our room on the 2nd floor.
We had the standard superior room with two twin beds and a walk-in shower. Although the room was only about 250 square feet (24 square meters), it seemed spacious enough for the two of us.
And the buffet breakfast in their restaurant that was included with our stay was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had! They had so many food selections, and I am not a breakfast person and I actually looked forward to breakfast every day while we were there. Their dinner was also very delicious!
Budapest has become one of our favorite cities to visit. If we ever go back, we will definitely stay at Hotel Moments again!
