Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace is one of the most beautiful Four Seasons hotels we have seen so far during our travels.  The Gresham Palace was completed back in 1906 as an office an apartment building, and it is located along the famous Danube River, overlooking the Chain Bridge and the hills of Buda.

Four Seasons took ownership of the Art Nouveau landmark in 1998.  They hired the best architects to restore this beautiful gem.  After a five-year $110 million restoration, it was reopened to the public.  They did extensive research on how the palace was originally built and restored those original details as a large staircase, stained glass, mosaics, ironwork, and winter gardens.
